Overview

The HXC-FZ90 portable studio camera system is designed for HD and 4K productions by utilising a 2/3 inch 4K CMOS image sensor to deliver high image quality. It offers flexibility to start with HD shooting and later upgrade to 4K with a software license on a permanent/monthly/weekly basis. The camera is adaptable to different setups and supports 4K HDR productions with wide colour BT.2020 and SR Live support for HDR. It also includes functions for easier live productions, such as focus assists, automatic control of various settings, and high-speed data transmission for remote operation. In addition, HXC-FZ90 camera is suitable for capturing reliable images in various scenarios, including events, sports, and corporate/education settings, with features like high sensitivity, dynamic contrast, and digital extender for magnification without image degradation.

High image quality for HD and 4K productions

Sony 2/3 inch 4K CMOS image sensor or deliver especially crisp, rich HD coverage by oversampling from 4K. Invest less now by startng with HD shooting, then upgrade to 4K later with a software license on a weekly/monthly/permanent basis.

Flexible integration

Ideally suited to 4K HDR productions and adaptable to the look you need, embracing wide colour BT.2020 and SR Live support for HDR (HLG/S-Log3). Handle 4K output directly from the camera, via 12G-SDI connection, for stand alone use. Moreover, it enables wireless operation and directly recording with third party accessories.

Functions designed for live productions

From focus assists to headset intercom, the HXC-FZ90 has specific features to make live operations easier. The Total Level Control System (TLCS) provides easy automatic control of Iris, Gain and Shutter. Network Trunk makes it possible to contol and operate devices such as PTZ cameras, as well as giving you high-speed data transmission between the camera and its CCU for remote operation.
