Capture brilliance
The Sony Cinema Line FX6 is a highly sought-after piece of movie-making equipment and is Netflix-approved. The recording quality of the Sony FX6 is capable of full-frame 4K recording at up to 120p in 10bit 4:2:2 on board.
S-Cinetone
Other notable features of the Sony Cinema Line FX6 include the S-Cinetone. S-Cinetone was designed to mimic the ever-popular VENICE Sony range, allowing you to create much richer visuals from the camera itself, instead of editing your film’s colour grading. Other Sony FX cameras with the S-Cinetone look include the Sony FX9 and Sony FX3.
Shoot in comfort
The Sony FX6 camera itself is light to hold with a 0.89kg body. Additional features include detachable Smart Grips, which allow you to move seamlessly around the scene for a smooth, professional result.
Create the unthinkable
No matter if you film day or night, the Sony Cinema Line FX6 can capture images in near-total darkness, due to an ISO expanded range up to 409600 and can capture impressive detail within a scene with shallow depth of field giving you an absolutely stunning cinematic feel.
Aside from its visual capabilities, the Sony Cinema Line FX6 includes a detachable smart handle and high-resolution LCD screen, a heat dissipation system for long shooting hours, and long battery life which makes it personable and stress-free for professional users.

ILME-FX6 Firmware Update Ver. 4.00
Benefits and Improvements- Adds support for Movie file names in the Camera ID + Reel# format
- Adds a function that displays De-squeeze (2.0x, 1.3x) in the viewfinder and HDMI output
- Adds more AF frame rates during Slow & Quick Motion
- Adds support for Flexible ISO and Cine EI Quick in shooting mode:
- Allows you to record S-Log3 content with exposure settings by adjusting the ISO sensitivity
- Allows you to record at a base ISO setting the same as Cine EI, with the base ISO adjusted automatically in conjunction with EI value
- When the shooting mode is set to Flexible ISO, Cine EI, or Cine EI Quick, adds support for recording a 3D LUT file to the same memory card with the base look used during shooting as the shooting data, at the same time
