Best partner for the Sony PMW-300 camcorder The ST-7S300 is the dedicated shoulder mount kit for the Sony PMW-300 camcorder, which allows a very comfortable & professional operation style. It quickly improves camera stability and can provide many benefits for operators just like a standard shoulder mount camera. Great weight balance on shoulder The most important feature of any shoulder rig is to realize even weight balance, even with a hand held type camera. ST-7S300 is designed to establish the most comfortable weight balance with PMW-300 camcorder and a large V-Mount type Lithium Ion Battery Handle attachment fits perfectly to the PMW-300 design The ST-7S300 top handle is die-cast and shaped to perfectly fit to the PMW-300's hand grip. There is "window" to see the cameras IrDA remote signal detector and Tally indicator, and also ¼-inch and 3 x M5 screw holes where accessories can be attached. Manual lens operation The PMW-300 has the unique feature of lens exchange capability. It is a great aid to professional camera operators that prefer to use their own manual type exchangeable lenses. The problem with such configurations is the poor weight balance with these heavier lenses, so, the ST-7S300 is the best solution since a V-mount battery can be used together, which allows a similar weight balance as shoulder type camcorders. Soft type shoulder pad Combining Comfort & Simplicity - An integrated rubberized shoulder pad molds to any shoulder without slipping and maintains excellent balance and alleviates pain from the painful pressure points that are common in harder shoulder pads. V-mount battery operation An integral V-mount battery plate further expands power options and allows a number of 3rd-party camera accessories to mount directly to the back-end of the rig.12VDC outputs (4-pin XLR-Female & D-Tap) are available on the ST-7S300 to supply power to camera accessories and lights. Power switch The DC power switch is available and located at the front lower position, the same usual position as shoulder type cameras. There is a LED power indicator which shows green when the DC power is on, and also it can indicate an empty battery by blinking-RED when the DC voltage of the battery reduces towards an unusable OVERVIEW
