The IDX Duo-C150 replaces the Duo-150
The IDX DUO-150 was aimed at the Digital Cinematography market where high current loads of 10A/120W are required with the need to drive peripheral equipment via built-in D-Tap connectors and a dedicated USB power out connector. The DUO-150 high capacity ( 146Wh) gave extended running times.
The Duo-C150 is the same price as the Duo-150 with these upgrades.
1. Same form factor but almost 15% weight saving. Approx. 910g - (DUO-150 approx. 1050g)
2. IB data mode is available in addition to the SB mode that the DUO-150 offers
3. USB for power source is now 5V / 2.3A - (DUO-150 was 5V/1.0A)
4. V-Torch facility is offered.
Under IATA Oct 2018 regulations, two pieces of the DUO-C150 (being over 100Wh and less than 160Wh) are allowed per person on airline carry-on baggage.
(It is recommend that users always check with their airline for current status prior to travel as the regulations do change.)
