The Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom 4x5.65" / 4x4" Ultra Lightweight 2-Stage Clip-On Matte Box is a small yet strong clamp-on matte box for lenses with an outer diameter of up to 114mm
Holds up to two 4x4 or 4x5.65" filters without using filter trays
Provides a wide field of view suitable for many wide-angle lenses even with two filters mounted
The flexible removable hood is built to hold its shape over time, even in temperature extremes
Weighs in at under 7 ounces, only 3.5 ounces without the hood
This makes the matte box suitable for use with gimbals and steadicams
The removable hood makes the matte box an excellent choice for aerial shooting
Made of aluminum, stainless steel, and an elasto polymer
Designed to be extremely strong and lightweight
Clamp on lenses with an outer diameter of 114mm, or smaller if you use step up adapter rings (not included)
To prevent the matte box from rotating while you focus or zoom, be certain to use lenses with an internal focus design
Securely insert up to two 4x4", 4x5.65", or a combination of those filters directly into the matte box without using a filter tray
A spring-loaded clamp at the top of the matte box secures the filters so they will not fall out unexpectedly

Lighter than light
Misfit ATOM weighs just 98g without the shade,and 195g with it. That’s less than a quarter theweight of a standard Misfit or LMB25.

Gimbals & Steadicam, making the impossible possible
When you’re pushed for weight, you won’t need to tape a filter to the lens anymore. With Misfit ATOM you can remove the shade and just use it as a filter holder. It’s safe, quick, and a whole lot more.

A unique filter system,
The tray-less filter holder allows you to loadfilters directly into the core, keeping weight to an absolute minimum. You can still tilt filters for total flare control and you can use one or two filters. Either 4x4 or 4x5.65, or even a combination of both.

Strong & light, now you can have both
To maximise strength to weight ratio, we cut from a single block of billet aluminium, and stripped it to the core. Just because we made it light, we didn’t compromise on strength. Made from hard anodised aluminium andelasto-polymer, you won’t find any plastic here.

A flare for design, tilting filter trays
Why put up with unwanted filter reflections? You don’t have to, and with Misfit ATOMit couldn’t be easier to remove them. Simply place the filters in the diagonalposition and the problem is gone.

Wider field of view
Cover lenses as wide as a 14mm Cooke S4.Use RED Pro Zooms at 5K. Vignettes are a thing of the past.
