Filmography: | Started as a news cameraman with ITN from 1982-89, went freelance in Sept 1989. Moving from news to documentaries in early 90 's. I have done top end documentaries for the last 18 years working for BBC, ITV, Sky, CH4, CH5 indies, Discovery, and National Geographic. Subjects include Science, History, Arts, Travel, Obs docs. I have worked as series cameraman with David Dimbleby, Jeremy Paxman, Dan Cruickshank, on various series over the years.I now also do aerial photography using a Hexacopter remote control helicopter which is getting a lot of interest, this has been used by BBC, Top Gear, Oxford Film and TV, Pioneer productions, Electric Sky, Arrow Media,Atlantic productions and more. |

Sony CX740 it has amazing stabilisation and sensor, it is great for the Hexacopter |
Q5. What’s the most bizarre/funniest/favourite thing to happen whilst on a shoot? |
Being followed by the Syrian secret police down a motorway the wrong way as our driver was lost! |
Q6. What’s your favourite or worst place to film and why? |
Favourite place is India - it is so colourful with amazing street life where ever you look.Worst place is Russia - difficult, miserable people who rip you off a lot of the time. |

Q8. Name one unnecessary item that you cannot do without on a shoot? |
A good cereal bar |
Q9. What would you like to film that you haven’t already? |
A Vietnamese cooking programme in Vietnam. Any famous architectural site with the Hexacopter, like the Great Wall of China. Extreme sports |
